What do I need to know when ordering sod?
Everything you need to know about ordering premium Kentucky Bluegrass sod from Mroczek Sod Farm.
- 1Determine square feet. Length multiplied by width (in feet) = square feet (L×W=sq. ft)
- 2Decide if you will need little or big roll sizes
- 3Schedule a date and time for delivery 2-3 days ahead together with detailed directions to your site. Someone should be present at time of delivery to show the driver where the sod should be unloaded and to make payment if prior arrangements have not been made
- 4For sod pick-up, please provide a minimum of one days notice
- 5Sod should be installed or unrolled within 24 hours from the time of delivery
- 6For Friday deliveries a weeks notice is appreciated
- 7Policy on pallets: There is a $15.00/pallet deposit on pallets
- 8MSF Big Roll installer policy: A $300.00 deposit for the use of our Big Roll installer is required and will be refunded when the installer is returned to MSF. 1st time users should call in advance for the operation instructions
